Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to request deletion of your Norms HRMS account and the personal data associated with it across our mobile applications — Norms MyHR, Norms Field, and Norms Face.

Norms HRMS is a B2B Human Resource Management System. Your account is typically created and managed by your employer's HR administrator. Some deletion actions may therefore involve coordination with your employer.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account and associated personal data, send a deletion request by email to our support team:

Subject: Account & Data Deletion Request
Please include the following so we can verify your identity:
- Your full name
- Registered email address or mobile number
- Employer / company name (as registered in Norms HRMS)
- Employee ID (if known)
- Name of the app you used (Norms MyHR / Norms Field / Norms Face)
We may contact you for additional verification before processing the request to ensure that the account belongs to you.
2. What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your request is verified and approved, the following personal data tied to your user account will be permanently deleted from our active systems:
- Profile Information: Name, employee ID, contact number, email, address, date of birth
- Identity Documents: Uploaded ID proofs (Aadhaar, PAN), photos, and personal documents
- Biometric Data: Facial recognition templates captured by Norms Face
- Location Data: GPS check-in records and field visit locations from Norms MyHR and Norms Field
- Authentication Data: Login credentials, session tokens, and device identifiers
- App Usage Data: In-app activity logs and personalized preferences
3. What Data May Be Retained
Because Norms HRMS is used by employers to maintain statutory employment records, certain data may be retained even after account deletion to comply with Indian laws and contractual obligations with your employer. This includes:
- Payroll & Tax Records: Salary, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax records (retained as required by tax and labor laws — typically up to 7 years)
- Attendance & Leave Records: Statutory attendance records maintained on behalf of your employer
- Audit & Security Logs: Anonymized system logs retained for fraud prevention and security audits (up to 2 years)
- Legal Holds: Any data subject to ongoing legal proceedings or regulatory investigations
Where data is retained, it is restricted from regular access and used only for the legal or compliance purpose for which it was kept.
4. Processing Time
- Deletion requests are acknowledged within 2 working days.
- Verified requests are processed within 7 working days.
- Backups containing your data are purged on the regular backup rotation cycle — up to 30 days after deletion.
5. Important Notes for Active Employees
If you are still actively employed by an organization that uses Norms HRMS, your employer is the data controller of your employment records. In such cases:
- We may notify your employer's HR administrator before deletion.
- Some operational data (attendance, payroll) may need to be maintained by your employer for the duration of your employment.
- You can withdraw biometric consent (Norms Face) at any time by emailing support@normsmanagement.com, after which your facial templates will be deleted.
6. Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling the Norms HRMS mobile apps from your device does not delete your account or personal data on our servers. To delete your account, please send an email request as described in Section 1 above.
